I had to come off of hiatus for this one. Yesterday, Governor Eliot Spitzer vetoed Bill No. 06306 that jeopardized New York's "no prejudice" rule (see prior post discussing no prejudice and Bill here).
I will post the veto memorandum when I obtain it.

I thought the veto memo was most interesting. The Gov had an opportunity to bring New York into the mainstream on this issue, and he didn't. The clouds are gathering now, and I'd be mildly surprised if the Legislature passes a bill on this again in the near future.
